Not going to lie...

It looked like crap. No offense. The preloader was good and I liked the effects in the beginning, but when the title came up, I was thinking, what is this? Then when Konata died, I did laugh when I saw Akuma. But, then a bad drawn pic of someone blasting the tv that wasn't even in color? If you are going to submit an animation like this, you should finish it. It might have worked had you actually put effort into it and not half-assed the ending. It really did look like the biggest rush job I've ever seen.

PRELOADER.

Why doesn't anyone understand that anymore. This is the third sprite fight in a row that I watched that doesn't have one. And this is one of those that the ending and the beginning blend so well that it's hard to tell when it ends. I watched this about 4 times before I realized it was looping.

Not a bad fight but there wasn't much content. It just didn't seem like it had that much effort put into it. it was extremely short with a few hit sounds. Probably would be better off as an animated gif than a flash movie. No offense.

I didn't really see any special effects or anything. just some sprite movement and few sounds. At least it looks pretty fluid. Everything moves the way it is supposed to, no shaky feet or anything like that. I wouldn't mind seeing a more thought out fight that way you could throw in some special effects and show us what you're really made of. As it stands now, it's basically something a 10 year old could put together. Again, no offense. There just isn't enough content to show us your skills.

It's a test. Read the description. I just wanted to see how well I could animate now.

not bad.

A little drawn out with the vanish fighting, but other than that it was a good fight. Surprised you didn't use super shadow. Most people just bust that out for no reason. I half expected him to turn super right at the last part.

A few things to improve. First, get a preloader. They take no effort to throw into the flash. just get a newgrounds one in the downloads section. It doesn't look good when it is just a looping movie. At least it wasn't one of those movies that doesn't have a clear end and the end and beginning blend together to the point it takes 4 times before you realize it's looping.

Second, some credits would be nice. I'm assuming you got those sprites and music from somewhere. I know you didn't make them. Credits are a must for the people who actually put effort into making sprites or ripping them. It's not as easy as you think.

That's about it. You got the style down, and it is an overused style, but since it was for a contest, well, it's probably supposed to be that way. Anyway, that's it. The fight was actually fantastic with the exception of the few times someone liked like they hit nothing and all of a sudden you see something flying. Just keep the stuff I mentioned in mind and you should do okay.

OW. MY EARS

The beginning was alright then all of a sudden all I heard was static. I couldn't even tell what sound was playing. Also, it was so short that I blinked and missed it.

well... only one thing to say.

That was beastly, epicly, awesomely one of the best sprite fights I have ever seen. You have some of the best special effects I've ever seen. I did like the story that is up so far. The only small thing for me was that I thought Jill's monologue was far too long and drawn out. The files on Stryker at the beginning and Johnny's/J.T.'s argument pretty much made the monologue unnecessary. But, I did enjoy the fan-service.

The voices were simply superb. Every voice was spot on and fit the character perfectly. Same with the music. The themes were perfect and fit the mood perfectly.

I would like a button to go back to the menu at will. I have been watching the fight over and over for, like, the last hour. I have to right-click and rewind in order to get to the preloader then wait until the menu comes up.

I know you probably have your own plans, but I do hope you plan to have J.T. and Johnny fight again in the future. I'd also think some team battles would kick ass. Not like vg2 with J.T. and Sakura, but more of two teams beating the hell out of each other. But, whatever. Your flash.

You and your series are already in the beastly tier, and I get the feeling the best is yet to come. Keep up the good work.

nice.

That was the best one yet. Maybe you should just do the next one alone. Just kidding. Seriously though. That was awesome.

Nice

I don't know if the pure awesomeness of this is more of a testament to your talent or how unbelievably drawn out dbz really is. Probably a bit of both.

sorry

but, there was hardly any effort put into this. I bet this didn't take but maybe an hour to do. There was little movement at all. You just pulled the sound from the show and put in a few sprites. The most movement in the whole thing was buu changed poses a few times and vegito changed poses to power up. Second, you really need a preloader. You can get one from the downloads section and it's already made. Try some more complicated things like fighting or something like that. You won't ever get any better unless you move into new areas and try new things.

oh god.

now I want one of those.

Nice.

Pretty good fights. So, is it going to be just DBZ or are you going to have other fights as well?

Cursekyuubi responds:

Others, it'll be whoever I feel like animating xD

I am a nerd. Nothing else needs to be said...
