I like the idea. But, there was one thing that ruined it horrendously. That was the controls. Everytime the boat hit something, it did a 180 and I sunk like a rock. I was always alright as long as I didn't hit anything. And the movement upgrade was more of a downgrade. Seriously, all it did was make me move faster, and I couldn't move good enough for it to do any good. No matter what I do, it seems to flip and the movement keys weren't doing anything. Work on the movement and try again.

You seem to be the only one with this problem.
You must just be holding the button to much or something. I had a friend who did that, so no matter what he flipped over.

I suggest doing quick taps of the keys rather than holding them, you'll keep better control

Why do you people like to make near impossible games? what is with that? Anyway, I agree with the guy below me. But, I would like to point out that later on, when the enemies filled the screen (literally), all of a sudden my guns didn't do any damage. I didn't understand. The gun was recharged and then when I fired it it didn't do anything to the enemy, and these were the riff raff. Of course the guys with shields survived. And they loved to turn their shield on when I was firing at them. The turrets for the most part had to shoot them down, because the shield came up everytime I fired at them. sorry, the later levels ruined the experience.

You just need to get skills. Time your shots to miss the shields being up. It's really not that hard. Other than that, make sure your blast radius hits the bulk of an enemy. Just grazing the headlight on a guy won't destroy him.

the same old problem

Either put in a difficulty level, or cheats. I can't stand games that difficult. I can't even kill the boss. Care to explain why my shots kept going through random enemies? Also, he should be always firing straight. I can't tell you how many times I got screwed over because I got killed because he wasn't firing in the right direction. Please fix it.

your shots were going through random enemies because my engine for this game isn't that great. it's imperfect. it's buggy. however, it's not a game-ruining experience.

Okay then

Is there a reason items can't be used in battle? You need to put that in there. Not to mention enemy attacking needs work. I ran into a few times where I could not attack at all and the enemy kept attacking until I died. There are a great many bugs still present and kind of messed it up for me. Fix the bugs and this will be a ton better.

You CAN use items in battle. Please read the in-game instructions; it explains it all in great detail.

I hate impossible battles

I cannot defeat rouge because every few attacks are that damn leviathon attack. You need to make it so she can't use that damn thing all the time. It is impossible to beat her because every attack takes a fifth of your health. Also, the emerald chase needs improvement too. The jumping is really messed up. i hit the jump and he jumps like five times for no reason. Still lots of improvement to be made. I like the idea (hell I love the idea), but I would like to get past rouge.

sorry, try again. There are too many bugs in it. Did you even try it out before you submitted it? try fixing the bugs and try again. Sorry, but this site is also litered with mario remakes. So, sorry, try again.

You did this for a 14 year old? Your future here looks bright. I love how you disabled the right click. Most people who make these games aren't able to (or dont want to). You did wonderful on this. It was a little short for my tastes, but oh well. I loved the music and everything seemed to go very well together. I can't wait to see your future submissions.

You pretty much made the battle the exact way it was in Mario World. It really wasn't all that great. I couldn't even finish it. Sorry, but try again. Maybe try making something of your own. This is just a ripoff of the final battle with bowser

Did you read the author's comments? The origin of the game is in there. I made this for a collab where the goal was to recreate a boss from a videogame. don't be such a Negative Nancy.

has glitches that prevent finishing a level

There were a few in just the first two that I saw. In the second level, the anger bar went up and everything cutoff. The music, and talking. Then Blockhead wouldn't listen to anything even though his attention span was completely full. Anyway, it is hard. It is a fun game once you get used to the controls
