not bad

for a basic game, it's pretty good. I wouldn't mind seeing a more complete version. I command you to make more. Now.

Zeiphex responds:

Aww, thank you so much :D Yes, I'm busy working on one but I'm a little stuck on the ActionScript ^^;

Got old. Fast.

These games never have any meaning, and are never any fun, just a waste of time. However, while I would normally vote a 2/3, the game was very well developed, and that made it a little better. The biggest weakness is that there just doesn't seem to be any point to getting far. I liked Larry and the gnomes because the story and everything had a purpose, and the gameplay made it fun, but this seemed just pointless. However, like I said, it was very well developed, which saved you for the most part.

Jazza responds:

The mini games by themselves are rather pointless but the proper context. They're meant for is with the entire series, IE pup run is far more enjoyable and makes sense when you've seen Larry episode 2. Thanks for the honest review though :)

really good game.

Except the last boss is too hard. AND I WAS PLAYING ON EASY! Most of the attacks were healing my people and they still got killed. I know it wasn't me because I got almost every item in the game, used all the stat food, and leveled EVERYTHING to max. The only thing missing was what was in the volcano secret area. All in all, it was a very fun game, but I REALLY REALLY hate overpowered boss battles. I think there should have been another method for getting to the secret areas. I'm sorry, but people are not going to even try considering how badly set up some of those minigames are. I played this for almost 12 hours straight only to find out that the final boss is impossible to beat. Did you GIVE HIM ENOUGH HEALTH? WITHOUT THE THINGS HEALING HIM?!

matt-likes-swords responds:

You got all the items and lost to the final boss on easy?

Hahahahahaha.

still glitched.

Sorry, the controls only respond half the time, and i keep dying even though i'm not touching the side of the blocks. which is near impossible to do. Also, level six where you don't move left? there's no way to avoid the saw without moving left. no matter how many times i tried to jump it and/or go around it, it just doesn't happen. I also was dying by touching the gold blocks even though I was standing next to it, not on it. sorry, but fix the game up and it may work.

flashygoodness responds:

The controls are not due to the programming, but rather the performance of your PC. Try closing some programs or using a faster web browser.

Level 6 is very easy once you figure it out. You just have to take the rules a little more literally. :)

Animation was good,

but that's about it. There was no way to kill the enemies (at least, if there was, it didn't work), it was annoying changing over all the time, the jump is horribly glitched, and overall was not very interesting. I don't really see why this is on the front page. The graphics were great, but it needed a bit more thought into the plot.

EntropicOrder responds:

You can't kill the enemies. It is a game of exploration not combat. Jumping isn't glitched (unless you fell through the floor which was fixed in v1.32), but hitting your head does hinder your jump and isn't 100% of the time obvious.

not bad.

Only one problem. Fix the jump controls. The spike part is nearly impossible to pass because the jump controls are so touchy and she falls off the platform too easy.

Snakex86 responds:

ok now you can control her in the air ... if that makes it easier!

okay.

sorry, but this was just awful. everything was just all over the place, and it's too dificult to make it far, even on easy. They just take too long to die, and then they leave a bunch of unknown stuff on the screen that is just there to get in the way. Not to mention the nuke kills you as well. Also, aren't you a little late for pico day, by about 3 months? Apparently, you are. Fair enough. Sorry, this just doesn't do it for me.

JoSilver responds:

lol moron! when you die you nuke automaticly... those useless things are batteries which power you up when you get enough... didn't you read the instructions!

I am a nerd. Nothing else needs to be said...
